I originally started this imprint (Wrekanise Recordings) for two reasons. One, I had a lot of crazy tunes from other heatmakers sitting around on dub for too long that need to be heard, or wouldn’t be released for a long time, and two, to have an outlet for some of my experimental beats. Being a fan of DnB first and foremost, waiting a year or more for tunes I want to get a release (if ever) was frustrating and the polar opposite of how I gained access to music growing up. So one of the main focuses of this imprint is to get the music out to us fans within a better timeframe.
The first release from Wrekanise Recordings arrives in the form of the Warriors project.
A six track, breakbeat cypher on the dirtstyle side.
